Berry
Berry is turning pink again this October, as part of the 'Pink Up Your Town' initiative. All money raised by Pink Up Berry is donated to the McGrath Foundation who provide specialised Breast Care Nurses who support those experiencing Breast Cancer free of charge, all over Australia. There are currently 233 nurses, but with your support this number can be increased so no one misses out on care.
Since the commencement of the Pink Up Your Town campaign in 2019, the Berry team have raised over $200,000, and their goal this year is $50,000!
There's a number of initiatives underway including:
Saturday 5th October Toppy Bowden Memorial Barefoot Bowls Day at Berry Bowling Club
Saturday 12th October Trivia Fun Night at Berry Bowling Club
Tuesday 15th October Luncheon with Guest speaker Tracy Bevan, Ambassador of the McGrath Foundation, at The Homestead Berry.
Sunday 20th October Pink Up Berry/Mollymook Cup Race Day at Shoalhaven City Turf Club
Saturday 26th October Street Stall at Broughton Court
Tuesday 5th November Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon at Berry Bowling Club.
Of course you can help them smash their goal by directly supporting the campaign via a tax deductible donation. Head to their Facebook page to keep up to date with the campaign and find out more about the upcoming events.
