Labor for Kiama Council
Hi, I’m Robyn Sharp.
I happily live in Foxground. I taught art in both public and private high schools in Sydney for 15 years, and when my daughter was born in 1988, I began my full-time art practice. My husband Lindsay is the founding director of the Powerhouse Museum, a world class facility whose historic displays the NSW Government is demolishing, figuratively and by stealth.
I am proud to be member of the Labor team for Kiama Council and to play a part of the inter-generational change of our council’s leadership. I am standing for Kiama Council because I want to see that local development is sustainable, we should protect our unique environment, and I believe in supporting the arts and social equity issues.
