Labor for Kiama Council

Hi, I’m Chris Cassidy. I live at Gerroa and have been a Labor party member for 40 years.

I have previously served as a Labor councillor on Auburn Council from 1991 to 2007 and served as a mayor for some of that time. I moved to Gerroa in 2015 and have served as a member of Kiama Council’s Access Committee and Safety Committee and as an Executive Member of the South Precinct

I’m proud to also be supporting a team to provide guidance to younger people in our community. It is so important we see new and future generations of residents involved in council decision making.

I’ll always work to ensure Kiama council looks after our unique environment, the safety of all residents, ensures everyone has the opportunity to fully participate in all facets of our community, and that everyone has access to well-maintained and resourced community and library facilities.
