Shane Douglas is a 59 year old self-employed business owner specialising in catering services.

He was caterer at the Kiama Bowlo, owner of the former SeaBream Cafe on Manning Street, and has been restaurateur and general manager of Gerringong’s Park Ridge Retreat since 2013.

Shane is a life-member of Kiama Junior Football Club, active with Football South Coast, Kiama District Sports Association, Gerringong Rotary, a board member of Kiama & District Business Chamber for 8 years, and served on the regional advisory council for affilated bodies of the Illawarra Business Chamber.

A driving force behind the establishment of Bendigo Bank in Gerringong, he is a former chair of South Precinct, and the Combined Community Advocacy Group.

Shane is passionate about creating sustainable framework for local businesses to aid growth and development. Married to Fiona, they have three mature-age children who each attended Kiama Public School and Kiama High School.
