A haven for those who care for loved ones and need a short break to recharge and rest.

Hosted by Lions Club of Kiama, Lions Cottage is a non-profit project supported by our local community. We provide respite accommodated for Carers and their loved ones for 2 to 7 nights. Being a Carer for someone can be rewarding, but it can also be demanding and stressful. It is important Carers take breaks to look after themselves, rest, recharge and be able to provide the best care possible. A short stay away from home in beautiful Kiama is great way to for a Carer to look after themselves.

Lions Carers Cottage is flexible and makes it work for Carers. They can come alone, with friends, with the person they care for or bring the whole family! Or have the person they care for stay with us and bring another Carer with them.

The location is central, the house is relaxing, the kitchen is fully equipped, there's great outdoor space, the bowling club across the road, a short walk to the beach, main street and other great facilities. Do as little or as much as you like ... it's your break!
