Call for community to share their storiesKate Dezarnaulds

An independent candidate running for the seat of Gilmore is encouraging the community to share their stories, ideas, and concerns about the future at a series of talks across the region.

Kate Dezarnaulds is calling on locals to find their voice, champion a cause and step up to speak at the We Are Gilmore Lightning Talks.

The talks will kick off at Nowra School of Arts on February 28, followed by events in Gerringong, Culburra, Moruya, and Ulladulla.

“Inspired by the growing grassroots Community Independent movement across Australia, the We Are Gilmore series aims to connect, energise, and elevate diverse voices across the electorate,” says Ms Dezarnaulds.

“The events will feature fast-paced, engaging talks from local community members, covering personal experiences, big ideas, and pressing local issues.

"This is politics done differently—more listening, more learning, and more people-powered action.”
