On the afternoon of Friday September 6, a crash occurred at Kiama Heights with no major injuries.

It is reported that a driver in a black car was driving the speed limit of 50kmph and smashed into a parked white car.

A resident of Kiama Heights, Johnny Bertram, contacted The Bugle identifying his concern with the 50kmph speed limits in the area.

“This 50kmph speed limit built up in areas such as Kalang Road should be reduced or speed slowing devices should be introduced. Fortunately, a pram and two children had passed by this spot just a few minutes early,” wrote Bertram.

This crash is a reminder for drivers in Kiama to be careful and sensible especially on back roads and in domestic areas.
