This weekend the tides are changing as Kiama Showgrounds hosts a new two-day music festival. Changing Tides brings together world class artists alongside some homegrown local talents.
Locals should be aware that the festival is expected to draw a huge crowd and the town will be busier than usual. Changed traffic conditions will be in place to cater to the festival crowds. Both Terralong Street and Bong Bong street near the showgrounds will be closed to traffic and organisers ask patrons to avoid driving to the event as parking options are limited.
NSW Transport has added more public transport options, with more train routes and additional carriages on trains to support the increased crowds over the weekend.
Shuttle buses will also run throughout the weekend and camping spots are available nearby at Killalea to ensure patrons have hassle free access to the festivities. Camping at the Kiama Showgrounds or nearby reserves is not permitted.
The event incorporates local produce, boutique wines and beers against our beautiful coastal landscape with an impressive music lineup featuring Australia’s G-Flip, Spacey Jane and Peking Duk, amongst others.
