Steve and I want to tell you of our decision to sell The Bugle, the newspaper we founded eight years ago.

It is not a decision that has been made easily – given our commitment to the community and the importance we place on the role of local newspapers – but we feel it is the right one for us.

We are proud to have built The Bugle into what it is today, both in its printed and digital forms, and are confident that new owners will be able to take it to the next level.

The Award for Excellence we received for Best Digital/Online Presence from Country Newspapers NSW confirms we are doing things right in that area. Thank you to all who have sent their congratulations to us.

We believe it is an excellent opportunity to buy a strong local brand with a proven track record and a sustainable future, providing a valued community service.
