Grant funding applications open for Landcare tree planting projectsLandcare Australia

Grant applications are open for landcare and community groups to apply for funding to plant 75,000 native trees and shrubs in urban and peri-urban areas across Australia.

Grants range from $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000 (ex-GST) to support the program.

The Bupa Landcare Grants Program is open to a wide range of community organisations and groups to plant native shrubs and trees in their region.

Landcare Australia CEO, Dr Shane Norrish says the program has a range of positive benefits for those who get involved.

“This funding will not only encourage people to get outdoors and engage with their local environment for their own wellbeing but also contribute significantly to the health of their local environment by improving biodiversity, native habitat and landscape restoration.”

You can submit an application and view more information about the initiative via the Landcare website. Applications close September 30, 2024.
