After its successful launch last year, which has seen the establishment of two Men's Tables in Kiama, another Entree event being held to introduce more men to the concept.
Men's Tables are a mental health initiative to encourage men to talk about the issues they are facing.
"The Men’s Table creates a unique, safe environment for men to share openly about their lives, their challenges, their highs and lows," says local convenor Michael Collins.
"Over dinner once a month, the proven format creates a sense of belonging, community, peer support and camaraderie that is lacking for many men, even for some who already have a group of mates.
Their slogan says it all
"Once you've been to the Entree, you'll be clearer about whether you'd like to be part of a Table, and we can help you with the relevant next steps."
Depending on the numbers who express interest, he will be looking to top up the existing tables to 12 members or create a new table.
"We have people from all walks of life and all ages," says Michael.
Entree event: Wednesday 27 July, Board Room, Kiama Golf Club, 6.30-9pm
