Collins Street will soon be reopened to traffic after a truck exiting from the development site dropped a hydraulic hose earlier today.

To speed up the oil cleanup, the builder arranged for the commercial use of Council equipment which was more quickly available.

The street was closed between the two roundabouts, while sand was dropped to absorb the oil.
