It looks like the wind is back for more following last week’s storm as the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) issued a severe weather warning today for strong winds.
The weather warning has been issued for people in the Snowy Mountains and parts of the Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands and South West Slopes districts.
Today, you can expect strong winds with damaging gusts along the Southern Tablelands, South Coast and Snowy Mountains until the early afternoon.
On Friday, damaging winds will impact the Southern and Central Tablelands, Blue Mountains, Illawarra, South Coast and Snowy Mountains from mid-morning through to mid-afternoon.
The NSW SES advises that people should move vehicles under cover and away from trees, secure loose items around their house, keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised and to stay vigilant in motor conditions.
