The Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival over the weekend saw Kiama come to life with people crowding the streets and local venues to hear a wide variety of music.
“It was absolutely fantastic,” says Festival organiser Becky Guggisberg - and everyone else The Bugle spoke during the event.
“We kicked off on Friday night with a screening of the film Keep on Keepin’ On. There was over 100 people at Gerrinong Town Hall and we heard the most extraordinary music,” she says.
“We had perfect weather on Saturday. There were hundreds of people around town, and all the hubs were humming. The main street was full of people and just gorgeous.
“Sunday - wow, what a big show with the street closure and everyone nestled down around the harbour.
“The whole town came alive, and it is such a good feeling to see people of all ages and stages benefiting from the arts and music and enjoying our beautiful township.”
Save the date for next year's Festival on 8-10 March.
