Kiama’s seniors are in for a treat as the 2025 Seniors Festival gets underway from 3 to 16 March, offering a fantastic lineup of events to celebrate, connect and empower older community members.

The festival will launch with a Mini-Expo on 4 March, where attendees can meet local community groups, learn about services and enjoy a free barbecue, with hampers available for the first 50 attendees. On 5 March, chocolate lovers can take part in a hands-on Chocolate-Maker’s Tour at Tilda & Cacao.

Tech Savvy Classes for Seniors will be held on 6, 13 and 20 March, helping participants build confidence in using technology through practical learning. A Mini Art Retreat at Minnamurra Rainforest on 11 March will provide a creative experience

in a beautiful natural setting. The festival will wrap up with a Seniors Festival Bush Dance in Jamberoo on 14 March, promising an afternoon of fun and music.

The festival is made possible thanks to a grant from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. Local community groups are invited to share details of their own Seniors

Festival events to be promoted as part of the celebrations.
