Kiama’s annual Christmas markets were held at the Pavilion on 28 November - right in time for the beginning of the festive season!
Over 50 local crafters and businesses displayed their favourite Christmas gifts on the day. Santa dropped by throughout the evening, taking pictures and sharing his spirit with the kids.
Face painting, fairy floss and treats definitely broke bank accounts, but who can say no during the Christmas season?
The markets covered a range of items, with plenty of options to find exactly what your loved ones would cherish. From wooden ornaments, handmade mugs, bracelets, jewellery, crystals, watercolour paintings and personally my favourite; the food, these markets had it all.
Homemade jams and biscuits
I was fortunate enough to speak with some of these lovely businesses, who were certainly in the Christmas spirit. Bowerbird Jewels, a local jewellery business, discussed with me their ethical sourcing and sustainability, keeping our decorations and our environment seamlessly beautiful.

Most of these markets donate portions of their profits to charities. Likewise, the kind girls running the laser cut out stall, donating 10% of their profits to Barnardos Australia.

With the addition of food stalls serving Mini Donuts, Gozleme and the delicious Maido Okonomiyaki, the night was a giant success for all those who attended.
