Kiama Surf Life Saving Club recently hosted a night of laughter and community spirit with its ‘Comedy for a Cause’ fundraising event, featuring top comedians from the Melbourne and Sydney International Comedy Festivals.

Comedy legends Peter Berner, Laura Hughes, Bruce Griffiths, and Mat Wakefield took to the stage, delivering a night of unforgettable entertainment. Their quick wit and hilarious performances had the crowd in stitches while helping to raise much-needed funds for the club.

Club Manager Sabrina Kelly said the event was a fantastic way to bring the community together while supporting local surf lifesaving efforts.

“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported the event. The funds raised will go directly towards vital lifesaving equipment, training, and programs that help keep our beaches safe,” she said.

The club extends its thanks to the comedians, organisers, and attendees for making the night such a success.
