Kiama to get COVID-19 Testing Clinic

The Member for Kiama, Gareth Ward, has announced that a drive-through COVID-19 Testing Clinic will be opening in Kiama tomorrow, 1 January.


"After discussions with our Health staff, I can confirm that we will establish a COVID testing Clinic at the Kiama Leisure Centre from 12 noon to 4PM tomorrow and then Saturday from 8AM to 4PM," he said.


The drive-through clinic and it will be located between the Netball Courts and the new Kiama Ambulance Station.


"We will review the need for this clinic on the basis of need," said Mr Ward.


"My sincere thanks to frontline health and pathology staff as well as the team at the Illawarra-Shoalhaven LHD for your swift work."


Shoalhaven and Shellharbour residents should use existing clinics if you have symptoms.


The symptoms of COVID-19 include:

  • fever
  • scratchy or sore throat
  • cough
  • runny nose
  • feeling short of breath
  • loss of your sense of taste
  • loss of your sense of smell.
