Only three weeks out from the Federal Election, the Kiama-Jamberoo Uniting Church is hosting a Gilmore Candidates’ Forum as a chance for locals to hear from, and ask questions of, five of the seven candidates.
To be held at the Uniting Church Hall tomorrow from 4pm, the forum will be the first, and possibly the only, opportunity to see the majority of the candidates together.
Attending the forum will be Fiona Phillips of the Labor Party, Andrew Constance of the Liberal Party, Carmel McCallum of the Greens, Nina Digiglio as an Independent and Jordan Maloney of the United Australia Party.
Each candidate will get two minutes to introduce themselves and make a statement. They will then answer four questions which have been sent to them prior, with two minutes per question.
The floor will then open up to any questions.
The forum will be held at the Uniting Church Hall (cnr Manning and Bong Bong Sts), from 4-6pm on Saturday 30 April.
