Kiama's Commonwealth Bank branch has relocated from its prominent position opposite the Post Office to the old ANZ site on Terralong Street.
Michelle Madruga, Kiama Branch Manager, believes the opening of the new branch will provide an improved and more interactive banking environment for Kiama locals and visitors.
“The Bank’s investment in Kiama’s new branch is a great example of how we are adapting to the way our customers want to bank with us. We are dedicated to making banking simpler, easier and more accessible by using the latest technology and an open-plan branch design," she says.
“Our investment in the new branch at Kiama reflects the importance Commonwealth Bank places on its branch network as one of the many ways customers can interact with us. We have been meeting customers’ financial needs in Kiama for over ninety years and are pleased we can continue to do so at our new location.”

The branch's new technology includes instant cash and cheque deposit machines, NetBank terminals, free Wi-Fi, and video conferencing options to connect customers with specialists from outside the branch.
Norm Swift, the Bank's Regional General Manager, says, “We are committed to offering our customers the best possible in-branch experience and providing a range of services that better meet their diverse needs.
"Our branch staff look forward to closely working with the Kiama community to deliver improved and streamlined customer service, and help customers on the path towards meeting their financial goals.”
The Commonwealth is now located at Shop 1, 125 Terralong Street, and is open Monday to Wednesday – 9.30am-4pm, Thursday 9.30am-5pm, and Friday 9.30am – 5pm.
