The record price for a house in Kiama Downs has been smashed by $1 million, with the sale last week of a waterfront property on Cliff Drive for $3.6 million.
The Seventies home, in need of renovation, was bought by Sydney buyers looking for a holiday home.

“It shows that even though the heat has come off the market a bit, the prices are still there for quality homes,” says Helena Crumpton of Stone Real Estate.
“Kiama Downs has been overlooked in the past, but that is changing.”

The sale is the third record sale price in a month for Stone, having earlier set a residential home record for Kiama when they sold a Farmer St property for $6.325 million and a record price for Kiama Heights, when they sold an Elanora Rd block (on two titles) for $5 million.
