There will be closures on the Illawarra Highway at Macquarie Pass between 9am and 3pm from Tuesday 13 August to Thursday 15 August.

The Illawarra Highway will be closed in both directions between Tourist Road and Yellow Rock Road.

Detours for light vehicles will be in place via Jamberoo Mountain Road and motorists are advised to allow an additional 20 minutes travel time for this.

Maintenance work on the road will include repairs of drains and signs, maintenance of electronic signs, vegetation clearing and collection of litter.

This work will be weather permitted and there will be updates if rain is predicted.
