A major police operation is currently underway in the Illawarra following a single-vehicle truck crash on the Princes Highway at Bulli.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10.50 am today (Monday, December 2, 2024), after reports of a southbound truck losing control, crashing through a guardrail, and plunging down an embankment.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance crews remain on-site, managing the situation and attending to the crash scene. Details regarding injuries or the driver’s condition are yet to be confirmed.

Officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Princes Highway is closed in both directions between the M1 Princes Motorway and Lawrence Hargrave Drive, causing significant traffic disruptions.
