A police sergeant has been accused of two alleged domestic-violence assault charges of a woman and will face court.
NSW Police stated the 47-year-old officer allegedly assaulted a woman once in 2018 and once in 2020 with charges involving choking without consent.
The officer with the Southern Region command will face Wollongong Court on 12 November after being issued a notice for one count each of common assault yesterday.
His employment is currently under review.
