The Member for Kiama, Gareth Ward, has announced the pop-up COVID-19 Testing Clinic in Kiama will continue to operate for the foreseeable future.

The drive-through Clinic, behind the Kiama Leisure Centre, was originally set up for just 1-2 January.

"I wasn't going to leave our community without an easy testing option at this time," says Mr Ward.

Entry to the Clinic is via the netball court carpark, adjacent to the Ambulance Station on Terralong St.

It is open until 4pm today, and will operate from 8-4pm in coming days.

The Clinic is being run by Laverty Pathology, and the turnaround for results is currently less than 24 hours.

People need to bring ID and their Medicare card. No booking is required.
