When we first bought a place in Kiama, the shopping was lovely. There was the hardware store that not only sold hardware and paint but also lovely household items. In the terrace houses, there were quality household items for sale. Leather & Hide, another example of quality products. Just three examples of quality, which are all gone now.
We no longer shop in Kiama, now we must travel to other towns for the quality. Why has Kiama gone downhill? Why hasn't the Council stepped in to stop all the 'junk' shops? Surely adding extra homes in the Kiama area is a very good reason to up the standards in town.
