Regional NSW's lockdown has been extended until at least Friday 10 September.
This follows today's announcement of 1029 cases in the previous 24 hours, and 136,000 vaccinations across the state.
In the first relaxation of rules for people who have been vaccinated has also been announced. From 15 September, five people, rather than two, will be able to gather outside if all adults are fully vaccinated (proof needs to be carried).
