Dear Members and Friends

We are excited to share details of our upcoming concert featuring the Southland Choir at Gerringong Town Hall at 2pm on Sunday 17 November 2024.

Southland is an occasional performing choir from New South Wales, formed by friends with diverse musical backgrounds who love choral singing and travel. They’ve toured internationally since 2012, performing in places like Budapest, Iceland, and the iconic Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona. As they mainly perform overseas, Southland’s repertoire focuses on 20th and 21st-century Australian composers, bringing uniquely Australian harmonies, styles, and traditional songs to audiences abroad.

As a special treat, the concert will include an opening act by some talented local performers. We won’t spoil the surprise, but it’s sure to be a heartwarming start to a wonderful afternoon of music.
