The Red Hot Summer Tour replaces recovering Barnesy

The Red Hot Summer Tour has announced an extended lineup to fill the gap that Jimmy Barnes leaves in the notable rock music lineup when it comes to the Kiama Showground on 6 January 2024. The lineup now includes Jon Stevens, who will perform a set of Noiseworks and INXS hits.

The closing act will now be Jimmy’s whole live band fronted by his daughter, Mahalia Barnes, and featuring some big names in rock music: Jon Stevens, Chris Cheney from The Living End and Ian Moss, Jimmy’s Cold Chisel bandmate.

Barnes has compiled the set list himself and said, “It's been an eventful week to say the least but one thing that’s put a big smile on my face are the mates I have around me who have my back. Thank you so much to my dear friends Mossy, Jon and Chris who will be joining my wonderful powerhouse of a daughter to [perform this special unique show] for you in January with my live band. I’m a lucky guy.”

Barnes is still currently recovering from open heart surgery. He has several months of recovery ahead of him but is making good progress since his surgery.

Ticketmaster will contact ticket holders directly with further information about the festival updates.
