The expected weather has put a dampener on Council’s Volunteer Expo, planned to be held at the Kiama Farmer’s Market tomorrow afternoon.
The Expo has been postponed until the Wednesday, 24 May, as there simply isn’t enough room for all of the volunteer organisations under the Uniting Church roof (the Farmers’ Market wet weather venue).
The Expo was organised to mark National Volunteer Week.
Twenty seven organisations, many of whom’s efforts regularly feature in The Bugle, have booked to participate, to highlight their work and attract more volunteers.
