It will test your eyesight on a phone, but the South Pacific Offshore Wind Project has released photo simulations which show what their proposed windfarm will look like from the water's edge (First glimpse of our possible windfarm future).
They show the 300m windmills clearly visable from Blowhole Point, the rock platform at Gerringong Headland and at Blackhead Reserve in Gerroa. (Note: best to look at on a bigger screen than a phone to get best view)
While these locations are near sea level, it is worth looking at the view from Hill 60 in Wollongong, which gives an indication of the impact extra height locally will have.
When you go to their website, it is possible to move the direction of each view around (like turning your head).
