Kiama SES and NSW Ambulance officers attended a workplace accident in Kiama on Wednesday 13 December 2023, at the apartments block being built overlooking the Kiama Showground and Surf Beach.

An SES spokesperson said Kiama SES attended at about 12:05pm on Wednesday and helped remove the boot of the injured worker and stretchered him to the ground to the waiting ambulance.

The SES said he had extensive leg injuries.

NSW Ambulance told The Bugle they attended at about midday at the building site, and transported a male in his twenties to Wollongong Hospital.

They did not know what condition he was in.
