Ballot draw results

The NSW Electoral Commission held a ballot draw for the 25 March election this morning.


The five candidates for Kiama, will be in this order:

  • John Gill, running for the Sustainable Australia Party - Stop Overdevelopment/Corruption
  • Tonia Gray, The Greens
  • Melanie Gibbons, Liberal
  • Gareth Ward, Independent
  • Katelin McInnerney, Labor.

Until this time, The Bugle was unaware of Mr Gill's candidacy.


Pre-polling starts Saturday 18 March and will continue Monday to Friday of the next week.


There is a change of venue for the prepolling this year, with the Kiama Uniting Church, in Manning St, hosting the local event.
