Following the successful launch on Wednesday of Saltwater’s fundraising appeal for the Türkiye earthquake, another local business is pitching in to help.
Cam Thomas’ Central Perk Café and his Turkish chef Nugul Odabas are offering a Turkish Breakfast Platter this Saturday and Sunday, with all of the proceeds going to the appeal set up by Saltwater [Street food powers local Turkish earthquake appeal].
“At $38 for two, it’s great value and a delicious way to help raise more funds,” says Cam.

Gülçin Töpel of Saltwater says she has been overwhelmed by the number of people who have come along to lend their support, with over $5000 raised on the first day. She will be running the fundraising dishes as her only specials until the end of next Wednesday, so you’ve time to drop on by.
