The Kiama Farmers Market celebrated its 11th birthday on 20 February, marking another year of community connection and local excellence.
Held every Wednesday at Coronation Park, right next to Surf Beach, the Kiama Farmers Market operates from 3-6 PM during daylight savings and 2-5 PM during non-daylight savings. Each market is kicked off with the ringing of the bell.
The market is a celebration of locally grown produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, oysters, local Wagyu beef, honey, eggs, milk straight from the dairy, gelato made from local milk, cider, wine, mushrooms, cakes, tarts, preserves, sourdough bread, street food, ready-made meals, and much more.
The 11th birthday celebration featured a special cake-cutting ceremony and a DJ. Despite the cloudy weather, many gathered at the beach to celebrate this beloved Kiama tradition.
Happy birthday to the Kiama Farmers Market, and here’s to many more!
