A man has died on Crooked River Road in Gerroa following a car crash on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 10am on Friday 12 January 2024 following reports that a car had hit a tree.

The driver was a 60-year-old man, and was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics but unfortunately passed away.

Lake Illawarra Police District is conducting an investigation into how the crash occured.
