We are very pleased to report that Country Press NSW has presented The Bugle with its 2022 Award of Excellence for the Best Online/Digital Presence.

We are delighted to have our efforts with The Bugle App recognised by our peers – 35 publishers of independent newspapers across the state.

Together we provide comprehensive coverage of local news and events for our readers, and while we all continue to provide a printed paper we are all looking to take advantage of digital opportunities to tell our local stories.

To receive this accolade from them is a great honour.

Launching The Bugle App at the beginning of 2021 has meant that we have been able to provide you with news as it happens, and tell the stories in different ways with the help of more pictures and the occasional video. It frees us from the limitation of our page size, and allows us to offer more ways to connect through our business and community directories.

With over 6,500 downloads, and a monthly readership of 15,000, those local stories are reaching people and deepening the ties within our community.

Importantly, the ever expanding capabilities of our digital channel still have to be fully realised.
