Too wet for a Red Hot Summer

This Saturday's Red Hot Summer concert at the Kiama Showgrounds has been postponed until Sunday 3 April.

Tickets to the Kiama leg of the popular national tour were sold out, with thousands of people looking forward to seeing a bill of legendary Australian bands, including ARIA Hall of Fame recipients, Hunters & Collectors.

Organiser Duane McDonald of Regional Touring says the safety of audiences, performers and all involved with working on the tour was the priority in making the decision.

“Everyone’s safety is paramount and there is torrential rain and flooding predicted over the coming days.

“Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by the dangerous conditions that have been impacting Queensland and New South Wales.”

The Angels are one of the bands now playing in Kiama in April.

Existing tickets will be automatically valid for the new date. Account holders will be contacted by Ticketmaster in the coming hours.

The same line up will be playing on the rescheduled date.
