Police have charged a woman with murder following the stabbing of a man near Shellharbour train station yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services arrived at Saturn Crescent, Dunmore around 3pm on Tuesday 28 January 2025, after a 25-year-old man was found critically injured.
Paramedics treated the man for a stab wound to his abdomen but he died at the scene.
Lake Illawarra Police District officers established a crime scene and commenced a homicide investigation.
The 35-year-old woman was arrested at a home in Albion Park Rail this morning.
She was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where she was charged with murder and refused bail.
Following inquiries, a 35-year-old woman was charged and remains before the court.
Police believe a number of people were at the scene at the time and inquiries are continuing.
A 15-year-old boy is set to appear in court on 30 January, after being charged with the same murder.
The boy was arrested on 29 January and is also facing charges of possessing an unauthorised firearm in connection with the seizure of a gel blaster pistol.
Investigations into the incident, which occurred on 28 January on Saturn Crescent, are ongoing under Strike Force Feods.
